Africa - Egypt

Aug. 08, 1974 - SOS Sahel In this jug: a little bit of millet, some grass and some Sahel sand: just to cheat one's own hunger and not to die. That is all what the population of the Sahel region south of the Sahara has to eat now for month already. And very numerous are the little children who could not survive this starvation. So Sahel has to be for all the abundant societies the main spot for international help. The Red Cross organisations of several countries are trying to do so for a year now. But the financial means are lacking now. So invitation is to all people to give material support to these actions for saving Sahel
