Jan. 01, 1973 - Uganda Goodwill Mission.: A public relation delegation composed of prominent private Uganda Citizens, led by Mr. Apollo Kironde, a former Minister of Tourism in the present Government and former Permanent Representative at the Uganda U.N. Mission in New York - today gave a press conference at the Uganda High Commission in London. Together with Mr. Kironde are Mr. John Babiha - Vice -President in the Obote Regime; Sir William Wilberforce Nadiope - Vice-President in the Mutesa/Obote Regime, and Mr. P. Odora - a prominent Citizen and farmer in Uganda. They are mainly interested in projecting the image of Uganda and to explain the current Government Policy and its philosophy and other matters related to British Public. London is the first stop in a long journey that includes The west Indies, Latin America, Canada and U.S.A.
