Jul. 07, 1975 - Civil war threatens Angola: Angola is now on the brink of Civil War refugees flee as the rival groups step up the fighting in the streets of the capital Luands in which it is reported that the troops of the Marxist Popular movement (M.P.L.A.) has driven out the troops of the National Front (F.N.L.A.). At present the M.P.L.A. and the F.N.L.A. share power with a third national movement UNITA.
