Jun. 06, 1972 - Under Heavy Guard: The trial took place last week in Nair bi of a member of Kenya Parliament Mr. Gideon Nunyao Mutiso, charged for conspiring with others to overthrow the Kenya Government. He pleaded guilty to the sedition charges and was sentenced to nine and a half years imprisonment. Twelve others were sentenced earlier this month on the same charges. In his statement to the police Mution said that he was involved only because of constant arances from the Chief of Defence Staff On Thursday Maj-General Ndlo resigned and his resignation was accepted. It is not clear if he is in custody or if he will face any charges.
