Feb. 19, 1974 - Egypt And Sudan Joint Action Programme: President Mohammad Anwar Sadat of Egypt and President Jaafar Numeiry of Sudan, last week signed a programme of joint political action and economic integration between Egypt and Sudan. The two leaders also agreed to set up a higher ministerial committee of the political organisations in the two twin countries. A joint communique was issued on the talks conducted by the two Presidents and it was announce that a joint technical committee meet within two weeks in Kharteum under the supervision of the Ministers of Economy in the two countries to talk over planning for executive certain projects in the fields of agricultural production and animal wealth.
