Aug. 08, 1980 - Zimbabwean Manpower Minister Edgar Tekere Accused Of Murder: Mr Edgar Tekere, 43, a member of the Zimbabwe Cabinet, he is the Minister for Manpower, Planning and Development in Mr Mugabe's Government, was arrested yesterday and charged with murdering Mr Gerald William Adams, 68, at Stamford Farm, on the outskirts of Salisbury, on Monday afternoon. A police statement said several other people had been taken into custody and would appear on the same charge in due course.
