Sep. 09, 1977 - Children's Day in the World Clean water - from Afghanistan to Zaire.. - this demand is one of the centers of gravity for the help of UNICEF in the countries of the third world, obvious, because in more than 90 countries three quarters of the population have no access to clean water. The result: cholera, thypoid fever, diarrhoea, intestinal worms, the most frequent cause of death of children. UNICEF, the children's relief organization of the United Nations, want to help, even more than before, and asks just now, to the forthcoming children's day in the world (on September 20th) for relief. Even the smallest contribution is welcome
