1965 - Many die in Peloponese earthquake: At least twenty people lost their lives and 150 were injured - sone 180 houses collapsed and 2, 500 badly damaged in the earthquake which struck the Peloponese - in Southern Greece - recently. King Constantine flew to the disaster area - almost as soon as new of the earthquake reached him. Photo shows a family si desolate midst the ruins of their home - in the Megalopolis area - after the quake in the Peloponese
