1972 - Eternal struggle for survival; Mr. Michael Coleman of the 22, 000 acre property, Rosscommon in the drought stricken north west of NSW drags sheep who became bogged in the silt of one of his two remaining dams which are both fast drying up. Already 14 of 16 dams on his property have dried up. More than 1, 000 sheep have died on his property in the past 3 months. Hundreds more are weak from hunger and thirst and across are drying every day. Out of a total of 7, 000 3 months ago, he has had to sell and get rid of many.
