Feb. 25 The largest greenhouse in the Orient; The largest greenhouse in the Orient has been completed by the Construction Ministry at Shinjuku Gardens, Tokyo, Japan and will be opened to the public next month. One thousand tropical plants of 500 different species have been transplanted in it. The greenhouse has an area of 1739 meters, and stands 17 meters high. A total of 3.300 square meters of glass were used to enclose the hothouse. Photo Shows A general view of the biggest greenhouse in the Orient built at Shinjuku Gardens. Tokyo
