Feb. 29 Stilted Tractor: A tractor on stilts has made its appearance in Britain to enable harrowing between rows of crops growing up to 4 ft high. The conversion from an ordinary tractor can be made by the farmer himself in four hourse with the aid of a hoist. Calles the Lenfield Flamingo, the tractor adaption has alternative settings for the wheel tracks of five, six or seven feet.
