It is designed to produce superior efficiency, earlier harvests and plants resistant to maladies. Barley, the principle Danish crop, was the test subject: they tried to cause genetic mutations that cause rigidity in the stem and the straw that would increase productivity. The tries on the various radioactive material verified not only on plants, but equally on the livestock being fed by these radiation-enhanced plants
