Agriculture - Barns - Farming - Livestock

Nov. 11, 1970 - The vintage has started and as the picture shows young vine-dressers from Franken (Germany) are instructed practically directly on the vineyard. The Bavarian national school for wins and fruit growing and horticulture Wurzburg Veitshochheim is a center for progressive wine growing and is internationally known. There the pupils thoroughly prepared for their future profession, in theory and in practise. On the picture senior government councillor Edgar Schwappach (middle), assistant headmaster and departmental chief of the experimental and instructional department of this school instructs the young vine-dressers about the riping process of red wine grapes.
