Nov. 28, 1970 - Roasting ducks breed in fishpond waters in Hungary: Some 80 percent of the roasting ducks bred in Hungary are raised in fishpond waters. An important centre for experimenting the methods best suited for this kind of poultry farming is the Szarvas Fish Breeding Research Station in South eastern Hungary. The breeding stock for the experimenting at the station has been imported from Great Britain. Photo shows some of the ducks imported from Britain
