1972 - They plan to introduce growing Cress to the U.S.: Richard Cahn (32) bachelor son of the late Sir Julian Cahn Bt. Millionaire cricketer - industrialist - whose nurseries at East Preston, Sussex - already produces the bulk of the cress eaten in this country is to introduce Cress to the United States. He expects it to be sold in chain stores throughout the United States. Mr.Cahn has perfected the system by which the cress is still growing when sold in punnets which he produces at the rate of more than half a million a week.
