Sep. 09, 1990 - Sheeps Have to Remove Because of the Winter Permanently living at the winter's boundary these sheeps have to leave their summer's pasture-ground near the Aletsch-Glacier in Naters in the canton Valais in Switzerland. The approaching winter in the montains constrains the shepherds to put to pasture their flocks in Belalp, which is less high situated. Our picture shows more than 1700 sheeps descening to Belalp on the first sunday in September, so called Shepherd's Sunday
