Oct. 10, 1950 - Airmen Of Five Nations Test Britain's Defence In Biggest Aerial Manoeuvres.: Airmen of five nations - Norway, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands and the U.S.A. joined British pilots and ground fighters yesterday in the biggest aerial manocuvres ever held in this country- Exercise Emperor. For eight days Britain's defenoes are to be tested to see wether the new secret devices are effective. More than a thousand bombers and fighters are talking part in the exercise. Photo shows.
