Dec. 12, 1952 - Britain has the world's greatest bomber. British aviation streaks into 1953 with an achievement which crown and surpasses all the advances already recorded in a year of outstanding progress ion the air. This latest triumph is a huge four- jet bomber incorporating revolutionary features. it is the Hadley Page H.p. 80, and it was taken off the secret list yesterday. Equipped with four Sapphire engines, buried in the wings, the H.P. 80 is estimated to have more power than 25 express locomotives or ten last war bombers.
