Tests For The Britannia: Scientists and technical experts examine the first prototype Britannia, which first flew in August, 1952, and which is now back on the Assembly Hall at Bristol for resonance tests. With the aircraft supported mainly on compressed njtrogen, special mechanism is used to set up resonance, or vibration, throughout the aircraft structure, and this resonance is measured and recorded by special apparatus
