Sep. 09, 1954 - New Vickers Viking Freighter for Invalides: The first Vickers Viking freighter aircraft, designed specially for the transport of cripples and invalides, was launched this morning at Northolt by Peter Masefield, B.E.A. executive, Invalides were taken on a free flight from Northolt to Blackbushe after the christening. It was named Lord Dundonald. Photo shows Mr. L.Bowie, of Stockwell, secretary of the Oval branch of the Invalide tricycle Association, is hoisted into the aircraft by a hydrollic freight loader
