Jan. 01, 1954 - Air Training In Britain For German Pilots: Four German air pilots and three ground instructors are now undergoing training at the Air Service Training School at Hamble, near Southampton, in preparation for the establishment of a civil air line in the German Federal Republic. After a three months course they will go to the United States for flight conversion courses to fly Convairs and Constellations. Photo shows Instruction with the safety equipment.
