Feb. 02, 1956 - 52 killed in Air Crash Near Cairo. Fifty two peoples were killed when an airliner crashed in the desert near Cairo on Monday. There were 12 survivors, 6 of them members of the crew. The aircraft was on flight from Saigon to Paris, crashed and burnt into flames some 15 miles south in the desert from the Cairo Bus Road. Eleven children and three babied in arms, were among the passengers, all of whom are believed to be French nationals.
