Sep. 07, 1956 - 7-9-56 Plastic drop tanks constructed by the Bristol Company for aircraft throughout the world One of the items on show at the Farnborough Air Display is the new type of plastic drop fuel tanks, which are being manufactured by the Bristol Aircraft Company for installation in machines for the government. The same tanks are also being produced under license by Fokker in Holland and SABCA in Belgium for use in their own country machines. The plastic tanks range from 50 to 500 gallon capacity.
