Mar. 03, 1955 - Press visit to New Southern Air Traffic Control cenrtre at London airport: A Press visit was held today at London Airport - of the new Southern Air Traffic Control Centre which is to replace the existing one at Uxbridge, and which contains the airways and radar control of Civil Aviation for the whoe of the South of England. It has been specially designed to cope with the exer increasing traffic to the airports in the London area.
