Australian Polio victim - 23 year old Peter ( Stiff Legs') Lynch, works by night as a telephone operator - at Leichhardt, Australia - and spends much of his day time learning to fly with the Royal Aero Club. In spite of his difficulties he has passed 21 examinations. He is still paralysed and has spent five months in bed. He can only operate the rudder bar by pushing his legs forward with his hands.
