Aug. 08, 1956 - The latest aircraft deslgned for economy and for operation from small landing fields is the M.L. LIGHT AIRCRA:T MAEK I - constructed by the M.L. Aviation Company, White Waltham. The outstanding feature of the aircraft is the novel wing eonstruction which is without rigid bracing and retains its form by En inflated fabric envelope, is which preasure is maintained to provide a stiff aerodynomic surface. The wing can be to provide a stiff aerodynamic surface. The wing can be deflated after flight, rolled into a bag and packed into the fuselage nacelle for transportation complete. The fuselage is also a very light construction - easily handled by ore person and is towable by a private car. The whole machine cane be stored in a private ear garage. It is fitted with a talterMikron III over unit- has a maximum speed of 68 m.p.h. and needs a take-off run of 70 yards - but a 140 yard run is required to clear a height of 50 ft.
