Mar. 22, 1958 - Helicopter to use for many purposes. Experts of the Federal Defence Ministry at March 21, 1958 were visiting in Bonn the new British helicopter, which may be used for different purposes. It is called Widgeon 1. it may be used for the transport of 5 persons 2. as schooling machine with double gear and double seats. 3. for the transport of ill and wounded persons, two stretchers and an ambulance besides may be transported. 4. as search - and saving plane, which easily may be equipped with a hydroulic hoist, which simulataneously may lift two persons 5. for freight transport, freight until a weight of 450 kg transported outside the helicopter. 6. for pest control on farms. 7. for the search of U-boats (submarines), the helicopter equipped with a transportable sonar apparatus. 8. for operations on the water, equipped with - rubber pontons filled with the air or with an amphibian landing apparatus
