Sep. 10, 1958 - Last of the V. Bombers goes into service: The Handley page Victor, the last of Britain's V. Bombers to go into service, is now in Squadron service at the Royal Air Force Station, cottersmore, Rutland. The first Squadron to be equipped with Victors is the No. 10 Sqaudron, commanded by Wing Commander C. Owen D.S.O. D.F.C. these pictures were made at R.A.F. Cottesmore, today September 10. They show the handley page Victor, a turbo jet powered bomber, in flight
