Sep. 09, 1959 - The two West German air-force officers from Bonn, lieutenant - colonel Geyer (GEYER) (right) and major Schmez (SCHMEZ) (left), who were winners at the international Europe-flight a short while ago, start on Sept. 7th for the international air-rally. They flew from Hangelar (HANGELAR) near Bonn to Norway, to be sure of a favourable position at the official start on Sept. 8th. 75 aeroplanes will take part at the flight and they will go across several countries to Baden-Baden. A great international pilot's-ball will take place here on Sept. 11th. The two pilots have a Putzer-Elster B 95 (PUTZER-ELSTER B 95); which is built in Bonn. The West German Army bought six of these for the sport-flying-groups
