Feb. 26 Preparations for the Farnborough air show. The Hawker Siddley P. 1127 Strike Aircraft.: Preparations are now going ahead for the 1964 Farnborough Air Display - to be held next week. Most of the newest designs and creations in the British field of acronautics are to be shown including the P.1127-Bristol Siddeley Pegasus turbo fan). The V/Stol aircraft will be of of the latest Tripartite Squadron Standard. Nine aircraft are being built for the Squadron, which consists of personnel from the United States, Fuderal Republic of Germany and the United Kingdom. Operation evaluation will start at R.A.F. Station, West Raynham in the Spring of the next year. It is one of the newest designs from the Hawker Siddeley Group. Photo shows the Hawker Siddeley P.1127 V/Stol tactical Strike Aircraft
