Feb. 26 Buccaneers for the Royal air force; The first four Buccaneer MK 2 aircraft to enter service with the Royal Air Force were scheduled to arrive at R.A.F. Honington, Suffolk, on October 1st with their arrival comes the formation of No. 12 Squadron and the re activation of R.A.F. Honington for thee first time in four years. By 1972 there will be four Buccaneer Squadron based at Honington, all of which will be committed to the N.A.T.O. Alliance.
