Aircraft - Aviation - Balloons - Helicopters
Feb. 26 A part of aviation history took place these days at tbe Dornier-factory airport Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich: This world's heaviest direct take-off-starter, with Jet-propelled, reached at its second flight with the pilots Wood and Boedel on board a height of 25 metres. The suspense-rack equipped with ten engines corresponds in size, form and weight to the t direct taking-off transport-aeroplane Do 31, which first flight took f place on February loth. But the Dornier-project, floated with Federal Funds amounting to 200 million Mark, runs the risk to come among the measures of economy of the Federal Government and, therefore, to be not further developed.
