Thomas, center, is about to cut the traditional Tape Heralding the big Airlines jet Inaugural, to London with a Boeing 707 Intercontinental ( The largest Jet Spaning the ocean) while fellow celebrants assist; whey are, left to right: Gunther Hill, Dorothy Luether, Thomas, Gordon Ray, Gretchen Dahm and Fred spuhler, All of TWA except miss Dahm who was selected Miss TWA Jet. The Flight, which carried a total of 116 persons was scheduled to make the trip in six hours and 14 Mintues to London, will Proceed to Frankfurt where it will Launch the first Westbound jet Crossing o New york, Via London, Tomorrow
