Mar. 27 How mail reaches Lundy: the mail plane arrives: Postman Frank Canon waves to pilot Capt. Looker as he comes in to land on Landy's landing field. With his comes incoming mail, yet to be stamped with the Puffin stamps before delivery by the Island's postman. Canon holds the outgoing mail which be has collected and stamped with the Puffin stamps. Visitors, many members of the Lundy Field Society stand by to wave and sit for their mail
