Mar. 31 Whoops!..There Goes His Tail: A four-man Boeing test crew putting a B-52H through its pases over Arkansas, U.S.A. Succeeded in losing a major part of the plane's 40 ft. vertical fin. Loss of the tail piece occurred during a low level test mission designed to see how tough the craft was under conditions of extreme stress and strain.
