Jul. 07, 1960 - The first Starfighters for the German army: On July 22nd, the first ten Starfighters for the Germany Air-force were taken over by Federal Minister of Defence, Franz-Josef Strauss (STRAUSS). More Jet-liners will follow these first ten (they are training machines), so that the German Army will have, at the end of the program, 670 air-liners of the type F 104'.
