Mar. 03, 1962 - Heinkel presents model of new jetliner: The Heinkel Aircraft Company of Speyer (West-Germany), presented a model of its new jetliner He 211. The plane is designed as short-distance liner with a maximum range of 2000 km. Two jet engines at the tail will give a speed of 800 km /h to the air-craft. 24 passengers can be transported in the He 211 which still is in the planning stage.
