Feb. 21, 1963 - Wolgang von Gronau 70 years old On August 1930 the flying-pioneer Wolfgang von Gronau passed the Atlantic from East to West (List on Sylt - New York) as first German. 1931 Gronau flew over the not explored Greenland and on 1932 he flew around the globe. Today Wolfgang von Gronau - our picture - is living at his farm Frasdorf near Rosenheim/Bavaria. On February 23rd, 63 Mr. Gronau can celebrate his 70. birthday
