Aircraft - Aviation - Balloons - Helicopters

Mar. 28, 1963 - Aircraft Lands on Roof - Womans Miraculous escape: Yesterday a Varsity Training Aircraft crashed on to the roof of a house in Gloucester, killing in the crew of two. The plane narrowly missed two schools before landing. Sixty nine year old Mrs. Edith Hutchins was in her bedroom when the plane arrived with a terrible the ceiling, stopping a few feet from her. The plane was on loan from the Ministry of Aviation to a firm of instrument makers. Photo shows the crumpled fuselage of the plane perched crazily on the rooftop, one wig can be seen on the right, leaning against the wall
