Oct. 24, 1963 - Mock Up of the new Concord Aircraft. A wooden mock up of the new Concord, Anglo French supersonic airliner has been built at the British Aircraft Corporation works at Filton, Bristol. The main purpose of the is to demonstrate to potential customers the cocpit installations, cabin layouts, furnishing schemes and general arrangement of the interior. Photo Shows: A general view of the mock up. The heat visor in front of the cockpit is in the down position. It can be raised in flight to reduce aerodynamic drag in supersonic cruise
