May 05, 1964 - Super VC 10 makes it's first flight.: The new Super VC 10, which has a longer range than the slightly smaller standard VC 10, took off for it's first flight from the Weybridge airfield of the British Aircraft Corporation today. 30 of the new 180 seat Super VC 10 have been ordered by B.O.A.C.
