May 05, 1964 - The Red Pelicans Show Their Paces: Showing their paces yesterday at the R.A.F. Central Flying School at Little Rissington were the Red Pelicans who have been named as the R.A.F. Aerobatic team for 1964. The team fly in jet Provost aircraft, and have a very full programme of displays mapped out for this summer, both in the U.K. and Europe. The European displays will include Sola/Stavanger, Norway, at the end of this month, Groningen Eelde, Holland and Brussels, Belgium in June, Metz, France in July, and Evian, Lake Geneva in August.
