May 05, 1963 - Biggest And Smallest At Biggin Hill. At the four-day Air Fair which opened today at Biggin Hill, with the object of promoting public interest in civil aviation, there was an interesting comparison between the smallest and the largest aircraft on show. The largest was the well-known D.C. 7. and the smallest was an interesting newcomer from Germany, the Bolkow Junior, which costs £2795 and flies at 130mph with a fuel consumption of 3 1/2 gallons per hour. Photo Shows:- The tiny Bolkow Junior under the wing of the D.C. 7
