Aug. 08, 1966 - On August 2nd, late at night, a regular plane of the Lufthansa had an accident during its approach flight on the airport of Nuremberg (West Germany). When setting on, the nose-wheel buckled and the plane slided on its front over the landing place, causing serious damage. Thereby, fire broke out in the cock-pit. From the 35 passengers who had to get out of the plane by the emergency exit, three were blessed. Photo shows the damaged plane
