Jun. 06, 1965 - Allgau-Sports-Week Oberstorf: On 22nd January 1784 the first balloon in Germany ascended from the yard of the Allgau-monastery in Ottobeuren. Since then the big balls are often to be seen. The Freiballonverein Augsburg e.V. founded a Balloon-Sports-Week which this year took place in Oberstorf. Seven balloons started.
