Aug. 08, 1967 - An Airship underdogs trials in Britain but only for the film Chitty Bang Bang': An airship specially built for the film musical Citty Bang Bang, based on children's stories by the late Ian Bond Fleming, caused quite a stir when it appeared over a field at Turville, in Buckinghamshire, where the film is being shot. The Board of Trade gave permission for the ship to operated provided it was kept in check by a group of men hanging on to guy ropes. Photo shows the airship is kept in check by men hanging on to the guy ropes during the filming session at Turville yesterday
