Aug. 08, 1963 - New French-German transport-plane: The 4.3.1963 was official introduced the prototype of a new french-german tranport-plane with name Transall C160 by the french and german defence-ministers on the military-airport in Istres near Marseille in France. The plane is a common-production of France and Germany. The 31 m.long new plane with his two english Rolls-Roye- motors should relieve soon the french transport-plane with name Noratlas in the french and german airforces. Photo shows the new french-german transport plane with name Transall on the airport in France
