Jan. 20, 1967 - Blind leading a success: The scene on the flight of a Super V010, during one of the 560 automatic landings now achieved by the Elliott Automation and BAC automatic landing system. This aircraft is now completing its airworthiness certification trials and will now be delivered to BOAC in a few months time. Visible through the windscreen are the runway lights of RAX Bedford airfield and the radio altimeter indicates about 20ft, immediately before touchdown. BAC test pilots, Eddie McNamara and Bill Cairus have been conducting the test flights
