Jump Jet Harrier takes off in Transatlantic Air Race The R.A.F. jump jet Harrier, piloted by Squadron Leader Tom Lecky Thompson, took off vertically from St. Pancras coal depot this morning in the Daily Mail Transatlantic Air Race.
