Mar. 02, 1969 - Concorde's successful first flight: The maiden flight of the Concorde prototype took place today from the Touluse Airport it was in the air for about 25 minutes and was a trouble free flight said France's top test pilot Andre Turcat. The Concorde is a joint Anglo-French project. Photo shows the Concorde seen just as it leaves the runway to take to the air for the very first time at Toulouse Airport this afternoon
